The foundation provides supplemental scholarships for worthy, dedicated, eligible students from Seventh-day Adventist academies in California that are also going to Adventist colleges and universities within the California Conferences. University and College scholarship applications must be submitted by April 1 and will be awarded in early June.
Limited foundation funding is available for grants to schools within the California Conference of Seventh-day Adventist educational system. Please review this site for the eligibility requirements and apply if you feel you or your institution qualifies for these unique opportunities that are awarded each September.
Archie Tonge led the life of a healer and a missionary. Born in 1895, Archie served in World War I and graduated from the College of Medical Evangelists (now Loma Linda University) with a Doctor of Medicine degree in 1924. After qualifying as a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons in Edinburgh, Scotland, Archie moved to South Africa and served as the Director for the Seventh-day Adventists hospital system there.
